- Research Activities
- The annual plan includes sorting and collecting research materials in the university relating to this project, establishing systems and organizations and coordinating with collaborative organizations to build a foundation for research activities. In addition, preparatory investigate research will be implemented and research activity issues to be continued that have already been launched will be sorted and further developed.
- Branding Strategy
- The content, features and significance of this project will be consolidated based on their relationship with the university’s future vision and disseminated using diverse advertising tools.
Fiscal 2019
- Research Activities
- Based on the project implementation foundation established the previous fiscal year, research activities will be promoted in earnest in line with the following three mainstays: (1) Interdisciplinary study of the text of The Late of Genji; (2) Cultural and social research on The Tale of Genji and (3) Joint research with overseas institutions.
- Branding Strategy
- Driven by the fully-fledged promotion of research activities, branding strategy will be developed based on their results through undertakings such as symposiums, events and lifelong learning courses. In addition, this project will be disseminated in coordination with the university’s 120th anniversary project to promote further recognition both within and outside the university.
Fiscal 2020
- Research Activities
- As well continued implementation of research activities from the previous fiscal year, work on establishing a research center will be promoted based on the accumulation of achievements and expansion of collaborative systems. In addition, results achieved as of the present will be compiled through activities such as organizing interim report symposiums to check overall progress and make adjustments to plans.
- Branding Strategy
- Based on the achievements of research activities, branding will be developed through undertakings such as symposiums, events and lifelong learning courses. In addition, initiatives such as presentations of the project will be implemented coordinated with the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics.
